Feed for fish
Feeding fish with TM «KONSTANTA» feedsAccording to current research in the field of animal feeding specialists of "KZ"KONSTANTA" LLC worked out an effective program of feeding pond carps. Buyers of fish nutrients caused genetically, but can vary greatly depending on the conditions. Our pelleted feeds and vitamin-mineral blends perform an optimal set of nutrients, the main are proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, macro- and microelements.
Modern production technologies
The feed mills of "KZ"Konstanta" LLC hold a triple quality control while production process: raw materials when applying for production, the process itself and the quality of the finished product. We provide veterinary support for our customers and work out individual recipes and produce special feed for them. All our brands of our feeds are accompanied by certificates by our laboratories accredited Ukrainian State Centre of Standardization and Certification "Ukragrostandartsertifikatsiya".
Feeds by TM «KONSTANTA»
- exceed all existing types of feed for the nutritional and energy value;
- reduce feed expense per unit;
- accelerate the process of growing fish to market weight;
- enhance the resistance of fish organism, strengthen the immune system;
- prevent diseases of the digestive system and other internal organs of fish.
Ingredients: wheat, bran, sunflower cake, soybean cake, yeasts, limestone, vitamin-mineral blend.
Feed does not contain ingredients that can worsen the taste and quality of meat.
Protein is a plastic material for building cells and tissues, containing in enzymes, antibodies, hormones. Therefore, designing a diet for fish we pay exceptional attention to the content of protein. Full value starter feeds for larvae and juvenile carp contain at least 45% crude protein in feed for one-year pond carp - 26-24% two-years - 23-21%. Essential amino acids (lysine, methionine, threonine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, histidine, arginine) come only from the full protein feeds. Their lack leads to metabolic disorders, increase of feed expense, slowing growth, inhibition of immunity.
Lack of essential fatty acids causes loss of appetite and inhibiting growth, increased feed conversion, skin and fins diseases. Our feed contains high quality fats in an amount that meets the needs of the species and age of fish (ie 2-6%). Carbohydrates are involved in cells and tissues building and in metabolic processes. Carp uses efficiently carbohydrates of feed. Our feed contain an optimum amounts of carbohydrates - 40-50%. Maximum crude fiber content in feed for one-year pond carp - 6% for two-years - 10%.
Minerals are structural elements of the skeleton and tissues involved in metabolic processes. The source of macronutrients in feed for fish are feed phosphates, chalk, limestone flour. Micro elements consist in vitamin and mineral premixes. Vitamins contain in enzymes, thereby regulating the metabolic processes in the body. A low content of vitamins in feed causes vitamin deficiency. Our feed for carp are produced in pellets, that reduces expenses of feed, contamination of ponds, development of diseases. The sizes of pellets depend on the weight of fish. Thus, the starter feed for juvenile carp have the form of grit of 2.5 mm. Optimal size for pellets for one-year and commodity carp are given in the table below:
|Weight of fish, g||1-10||11-40||41-150||150-500+|
|Size of pellet, mm||1,5-2,5||2,5-3,5||4-4,5||4,5-4,8|
The main criteria of quality fish feed is water resistance and ability of pellets to swell. Our feed they correspond GOST 10385-88 for pond carps. The level of feed conversion varies depending on season. At a temperature 14-15 degrees feed consumption is minimal, in late July and August it is maximum because by this time the forage base is reduced. In September and October, due to lower water temperature, fish need in feed is reduced.
The amount of feed required is determined as a percentage of body weight. Feed is placed on a certain place in the same time at least twice a day. Young marketable fish up to 20 g is fed 4-8 times a day. In winter, when temperature of water is low metabolism slows down and carp can go without feeding. However, in the late autumn and winter periods it is recommended to continue feeding before the descent ponds, especially in condition of high density.
